Can I change the delivery address later?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to make changes after the order process has already been completed. If you have already received an order confirmation, the delivery address can no longer be changed. If you have selected the payment methods advance payment or cash on delivery, you can let our customer service check whether your order can still be redirected.

How will it be sent?

The products from our assortment are sent by DPD and DHL. We decided to use these senders because we had a good experience with them. For larger volumes and quantities we hire a forwarding agency.

How long does the delivery take?

We initiate delivery of your goods within one working day after order or within 3 working with the advance payment transaction type. Sundays and public holidays must be taken into account. Except for problems on the part of the commissioned shipping company we have not foreseen, the delivery reaches you in 2-3 working days after your order or in the advance payment transaction types in 4-5 working days after execution of the payment.

If delivery times differ on an individual basis, this is shown on the respective product page. If you do not receive the goods in the time specified by the commissioned shipping company due to an unforeseen delay, we request immediate notification so that we can investigate the commissioned shipping company. The delivery times stated apply for the shipment of the delivery within Germany. If offered, shipment outside Germany may take 3 and 4 business days longer.

Are partial deliveries possible?

We are entitled to make partial deliveries if this is reasonable for you. Additional shipping costs arise only with express agreement.

How high are shipping costs?

What should be considered when ordering abroad?

For foreign customers (outside Germany), any transfer fees (in the case of prepayment) as well as customs duties and taxes are to be borne by the customer. German customs processing fees are already included in our shipping costs. For orders from outside the EU, we deduct the current German VAT from the value of goods after your registration in the shop (and then also on every subsequent login).

What is VAT exemption in non-commercial travel?

As a matter of principle VAT is levied on every purchase of a traveller at surifrey.com with delivery to an EU country. If the customer subsequently exports the goods to a third country, it is possible to request a VAT refund from the dealer from whom the goods were purchased. Travellers resident in an EU country can not be exempt from VAT.

When can I submit an application for a VAT refund?

An application for VAT refund in non-commercial travel can be made if an order is placed with surifrey.com, the delivery is to an EU country and the product is subsequently exported by the applicant to a non-EU country (= non-EU), where the person is demonstrably resident. For the sake of simplicity, we have summarised the provisions as follows: Meier Logistik GmbH (SURI FREY) is registered in the following countries and pays VAT in these countries: Germany, France, Italy and Austria. In the following, we present the regulations for the refund of the respective country-specific value added tax. For the refund of French VAT, the French requirements must be fulfilled, for the refund of the Italian VAT, the Italian requirements, etc.

How do I specifically submit an application for a VAT refund?

GERMANY

 

  • Delivery is made to Germany; the goods purchased are exported to a third country within 3 months of delivery.
  • We have the following documents/evidence:
    1. the completed export certificate (Points 1-16 are to be completed)
  • DE | Export and customer certificate for VAT purposes for exports in non-commercial travel (Section 6 (3) a UStG) - for the refund of German VAT (PDF download)

AUSTRIA

 

  • Delivery is made to Austria; the goods purchased are exported to a third country within 3 months of delivery.
  • The gross invoice amount of the purchased goods is higher than € 75.
  • We have the following documents/evidence:
    1. the completed export certificate
    2. a copy of the passport or other border crossing document
  • AT | Export and customer certificate for VAT purposes U34 form - for the refund of Austrian VAT  (PDF download)

ITALY

 

  • Delivery is made to Italy; the goods purchased are exported to a third country within 3 months of delivery. The export must be verified by the merchant no later than 4 months after the purchase date.
  • The gross invoice amount of the purchased goods is higher than € 154.95.
  • We have the following documents/evidence:
    1. invoice stamped by border customs office
    2. a copy of the passport or other border crossing document

FRANCE

 

  • Delivery is made to France; the goods purchased are exported to a third country within 3 months of delivery.
  • The gross invoice amount of the purchased goods is higher than € 175.
  • The customer submits a written application for refund of VAT (by post or e-mail to service@surifrey.com).
  • We then request export for the customer online and send the corresponding documents for submission to the customs office.
  • We have the following documents/evidence:
    1. Written application for an export prior to the export

What do I do in the event of a transport damage?

Despite all care, damage to the shipment may occur during delivery. In this case, we will refund you the damaged items for free. However, we ask you to report damage in transit immediately upon receipt of the goods to the parcel service / forwarder. Otherwise, any recourse claims may be difficult for us to assert. Please inform us subsequently about the identified transport damages.
